My name is Abby Sowemimo, a PMP certified Project Manager with a Master's in Data Analytics, a decade of cross-industry experience, and a reputation for being the calm, decisive presence in the room when projects get complex
My path to project management was not linear and that is what makes it valuable. I started in customer service and administration, moved into Human Resources, and then pivoted into Business Development Management. It was there, coordinating cross-functional initiatives and watching projects succeed or fall apart based on how well they were managed, that I found my direction. I pursued my PMP certification, completed a Master's in Analytics at Northeastern University, and built a career spanning terminal logistics, residential and commercial construction, enterprise digital transformation, and management consulting.
What sets me apart is the combination of rigorous project governance, RAID logs, WBS, RACI frameworks with genuine technical capability in PowerBI, SQL, Python, and MS Project. I dont just manage projects. I build the reporting systems that keep them visible, and the structures that keep them on track.
Outside of work, I am constantly learning. Whether that is hitting the slopes skiing and picking up skills, exploring new cooking techniques in a culinary class, or discovering the best resturants and fine dining experiences in the city. I bring the same curiousity and intentionality to life that I bring to every project I lead.
I'm currently seeking Project Management roles where I can lead meaningful transformation, bring data-informed discipline to delivery, and grow within a high-performing team. If that sounds like a fit, I would love to connect.
